Anyone here had experience selling broken consoles to EB games recently?
>> No. 255
Actually, yes.
I had a DS phat.
-The hinge was cracked because I dropped it
-The touchscreen was permanently miscalibrated because my punk 4 year old cousins fucked with it.
-It would only turn on if the temperature was very low (around 10 degrees), probably because I bought it when it first came out

Traded it in for $74 cash two years ago.
Used that cash for a DS lite.
Fuck yeah.

traded my beyond fucked 360 for cash and got a Wii, big fucking mistake as a broken Xbox is still superior to a Wii.

Traded in a really old 360 with a dead laser to GAME, got full value as they didn't bother checking if it plays games. Saved $200 on my 360 slim.

I traded a big stack of broken PS1 and PS2 to EB. Didn't get much, but they still accept them.

I work at EB Games, if the console looks fine just sell it as a broken one, write a fake address on the slip and phone number, most go back to head office anyway to be reformatted.

You still need a controller and cords and the unit though, Harddrives trade separately.

At least my store doesn't check em, do it when it's busy they won't have time to check. We don't give cash it's store credit so use it at another EB store.
