Anyone here had experience selling broken consoles to EB games recently?
Traded in a really old 360 with a dead laser to GAME, got full value as they didn't bother checking if it plays games. Saved $200 on my 360 slim.
I traded a big stack of broken PS1 and PS2 to EB. Didn't get much, but they still accept them.
I work at EB Games, if the console looks fine just sell it as a broken one, write a fake address on the slip and phone number, most go back to head office anyway to be reformatted. You still need a controller and cords and the unit though, Harddrives trade separately. At least my store doesn't check em, do it when it's busy they won't have time to check. We don't give cash it's store credit so use it at another EB store.

The only psi amp power I used was the radar one, which again, made me feel a whole lot better when I definitely knew whether or not there was some creepy bastard around a corner. To date, this is still the most scary game I've ever played. Bioshock and F.E.A.R didn't come close.

I once tried runescape about 8 years ago. Didn't try another till WoW last year. Got sick of WoW very quickly. Haven't touched another MMORPG since. Never intend to. I like to believe that the only real RPG games are single-player ones with an engrossing story and characters that you actually give a shit about. INb4: "Herp derp Wow has a really deep storyline"

it should be worth it since there's a lot of custom maps out there that are quite decent. i thought clocked was a widely accepted word for completing a game but for some reason a lot of people i talk to don't know what it means when i say it.
